Different ways of sketching

Assignment: to recreate in paint what I love about about a digital overlay I made of two unfinished paintings I have been working on.

Problem: To break the curse of loving the freshest, first layer of paint. To work through not knowing where to take a painting. To create something that I like from two paintings that aren’t working. To retain the transparency of paint. To use the computer to sketch out a composition I would never have thought of, and then to be able to bounce off from it.
