Wind Skin

With inspiration in the studio, I headed down to the river with a new piece—a simple casting of the body midline—and released it to the wind. The tracing paper used to create the form held up well to the wind’s impact, and gave the skin a buoyancy and shape integrity greater than when using mulberry paper.
