Stenciling Traces
Happy to be back in the studio after a brief hiatus to work on the thesis paper. Every time I have to stop work in the studio, the work changes, my thinking about the work changes. this time I wanted to create two layers of impact. By cutting a stencil, the paint behaves differently on the surface on the vellum. Could continue to experiment.
Just I really love the remaining stencils, and how the paper wrinkles and coils like a layer of skin, or snake skin that has been shed.
