Look forward while looking back

I have no memory of working on this drawing. I just found it in a pile of work from the spring semester, and it looks like it began as a landscape and then it was turned into something else.

It’s both interesting that a person can completely forget an event, and also simply terrifying because the brain has a way of interpolating the gaps with unreliable memory.
