Strangling
I reworked the pink canvas to create the feel of a body. I strangled the canvas to create a neck, and then applied gold and glitter to the strangled bits.
I’ve also been listening to political podcasts today discussing the grim situation in Afghanistan, and have transcribed on bits of tracing paper the key words in the politician’s speech that resonated. I’ve inserted them into the wet paint so when it dries the phrases will be entombed in paint.
