Digital abstraction?

The Exploring Abstraction workshop at WSoA did make it less intimidating for me to just paint without any real agenda. It is freeing to act when you have some sort of structure in place. I feel like that is a parallel to this fluid culture we find ourselves in right now. Trying to find order in the chaos. You can either respond by creating your own reality, say Photorealism, or you can keep tracing and tracing and retracing until you like the pattern that comes up.
